Corona Del Sol, Senior, Kyrene School Graduate
Corona del Sol senior Grace Wombacher is a Tempe native and alumna of Kyrene Elementary, and will soon be a graduate of CDS as well. She is the definition of busy, participating in the City of Tempe Mayor’s Youth Advisory Board, Student Council, the City of Tempe’s Career Ready summer internship program, and is a flag football and lacrosse athlete.
“I’ve met so many good people at Corona. I brought a lot of my friends from the Kyrene district to Corona and this environment is great. We do a lot of special things here that I am glad to be a part of.”
There are many benefits of Grace’s public school experience – her continuity of friends from elementary school, the opportunity to make new friends at Corona del Sol, the availability of Advanced Placement courses, and the unique events and programs that Corona Del Sol offers are unrivaled.
She has greatly benefited from the dedicated teachers in the Kyrene School District, especially her Kindergarten and eighth-grade English teachers. Their passion for their jobs will stay with Grace forever.
